I'm doing this ride to celebrate all the cancer survivors & remember the ones that have lost the battle, esp: My mom, past away to cancer in 1998; my uncle who past away to stomach cancer; my mother-in-law, a breast cancer SURVIVOR; my father-in-law, a prostate cancer SURVIVOR; a close friend whose dad is losing his battle to cancer; a young co-worker, who's fighting her battle against breast cancer & doing a DAMN GOOD JOB; others that I am probably forgetting & all the kids I have taken care of who are fighting their battles on a daily basis!!!!
