Cause:

Chris Driver was a native of Rocky Mount and a 5 1/2-year veteran of the RMPD. He had many hobbies including gaming, riding his motorcycle, singing and dancing, and his favorite comic book hero was Batman. He was called "Batman". He loved being a police officer and serving his community. On the evening of June 23rd, 2018 he was involved in a fatal accident in his patrol car while responding to a call.

A foundation has been established in his memory. Our purpose is to assist our local law enforcement by providing scholarships for educational needs, financial assistance during a catastrophic event, and grants for agencies for equipment and training needs.
