Once again I will be cycling in the le Tour de Femme on Saturday, October 14th.

Recently a very close family member has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma brain and lung cancer and I will be riding every mile in his honor while he fights this terrible disease.  He was instrumental with introducing me to cycling and did all my triathlons with his encouragement. 

I have the privledge to ride with hundreds of women that are either survivors or have had a loved one be diagnosed with cancer.  October is breast cancer awareness month and once again I will be riding in memory of my cousin who lost her battle as well as family members and friends who are survivors!  

Cycling is a great sport and hundreds of thousands of dollars are raised every year to find a cure for this horrible disease.  Please support me while I cycle in honor and memory of family and friends that are fighting or have fought this terrible disease.
