I am riding again this year in honor of my mom, Peg Shields, who lost her battle against ovarian cancer in November 2017, as well as other family members who have lost their battles, or are currently battling this horrible disease. I think of my mom often, and hope she pushes me through the 30 miles of this ride so I can help to be a part of turning the tide against cancer. Love you mom!!
